Please be patient as we are dealing with a high volume of messages and requests. It may take longer than usual for your call to be returned.
To make an appointment, please call the office at 250- 248-6333 or
Our new address is 673 Temple St. (near Pym St.) Parksville.
To quote Dr. Bonnie Henry, “Let’s be kind to each other.” This is our first time navigating down this new path. We look forward to seeing you!
See you soon…

Premier Horgan recently announced that many health professionals would be allowed to reopen on a gradual basis on May 19, 2020. Your health and safety is our number one priority as we move forward and embrace the new normal.
Every office has unique circumstances to consider upon reopening.
Our office is no exception. We are working very hard to reopen but unfortunately, we will not be reopening on May 19th.
The good news is that our new office has passed the final building inspection and is looking great. However, there a few building details to look after before we can bring in furniture, equipment and files. After undergoing a deep cleaning, we will then put the proper safety protocol and PPE in place.
We have reviewed the protocols and guidelines from the Centre for Disease Control, Work Safe BC, BC College of Chiropractors and the BC Ministry of Health to develop our own COVID-19 Safety Plan (Pandemic Operational Plan.) We will be posting our plan at the office in accordance with the new directive from the Provincial Health Officer.
Some of the measures we will be taking are:
• Pre-screening patients for risk factors
• Disinfecting treatment tables and rooms after each visit
• Physical distancing measures such as minimizing the number of people in the office to 1 at a time and using a plexi-glass barrier at reception desk
• Using masks and other PPE
• Changes in payment methods that will reduce contact with POS machines
All patients will be informed of the exact visit procedure when they are making their appointments.
Once the building is deep cleaned and all the safety protocols put in place, we will be reopening the office.
Thank you for your patience and understanding. Your health and safety is our number one priority.

Yes, many chiropractors will be opening their offices soon. But in the mean time we should continue to follow the advice of Dr. Bonnie Henry and be” Kind to Each Other.”
Yesterday, Premier John Horgan announced that the loosening of restrictions due to COVID-19 would be happening very soon. He further stated that the hands-on health professionals such as Chiropractic, Dentistry and Physiotherapy would be opening their doors sometime in mid-May.
We are empathetic to our patients that are experiencing severe pain and distress. This is an extremely challenging and difficult situation for you.
Please be patient. We would love to be able to flick the switch and have our doors open immediately. An exact opening date will be announced next week.
In order to open our brand-new office, we must:
1. Allow the builders to finish the fantastic job they have done. They are just about completed.
2. Pass a final building inspection from the City of Parksville.
3. Move the equipment, computers and supplies out of storage and into the new office.
4. Put in place the Safety protocol defined by our provincial regulatory board.
5. Obtain the hard to find personal protective equipment. (PPE)
We are moving as quickly as possible, but the main focus will be to put the safety of patients, staff and the general public as the number 1 priority.
In the meantime, let us follow the advice of Dr. Bonnie Henry and be kind to each other. The future is in our hands “as long as we don’t forget to wash them.”
Nel was in her 100th year of life when I last saw her. Although, she could barely see and hear, her energy was very dynamic. She told me that she wanted to work a bit in the garden after her treatment. She had seen chiropractors for more years than I had been alive! I believe I was her 5th chiropractor. As I was carefully doing some soft tissue work on her neck and upper back muscles, she exclaimed, “Ah, that feels good.” As she left with her 75 year old daughter, I reflected on what was to be her last visit. I recalled a quote I remember reading from Bernard Williams.
“Man never made any material as resilient as the human spirit.”
R.I.P. Nel. You are a kindred spirit.
